We can’t pretend we don’t have a soft spot for the new twin-cylinder Royal Enfields, and hope to see more of them undertaking marathon journeys when that sort of thing is possible again. But it seems R&G, the crash protection specialists from Hampshire, feel the same way as us!
They’ve just launched what they call their ‘Adventure Bars’ for both the 650 Interceptor and the Continental.
Made from thick steel tubing and powder-coated to ensure a strong and beautiful finish, the bars are able to protect the core components of the bike from damage, when the inevitable happens, even if that is just in a cafe carpark!
Each side mounts on 3 points but they don’t form the classic cradle shape that makes for the easy addition of small tool bags and suchlike.
