We had two tickets to give away to the Horizons Unlimited gathering in Ireland this year and the response was fantastic from both sides of the Irish Sea.
Perhaps we shouldn’t have been surprised as the event is rapidly gaining a terrific reputation as a laid-back, friendly weekend that always seems to have a cultural surprise up its sleeve!
The venue is set in the UK’s most westerly county, the beautiful Fermanagh, renowned for its lakes, hospitality, great riding and just the occasional shower of rain …
The prize was drawn in the traditional way, by a completely non-partisan celebrity, but one who has travelled to more countries and can count to ten in more languages than the years he’s been alive!
No amount of witty or sycophantic messages were going to sway the final decision (Richard, Randy, Ian…) though we always enjoy praise!
