SHOEI Launches Neotec II Helmet

Officially launched earlier this week, and due to make its UK debut at Motorcycle Live, the Neotec II flip-front helmet from SHOEI is the latest evolution of the popular Neotec design.

Several members of the Overland team ride with the original Neotec and to say we’re fans would be an understatement. We haven’t tested the new version yet of course, but we hope to in the very near future.

Based on what SHOEI has said so far, it seems the Neotec II inherits the original’s shape and purpose, but improves in several key areas, with a more aggressive aesthetic and an option for an integrated Sena Communications Bluetooth device. There’s new double shield system designed to prevent any leakage and a newly-designed cheek pad that has been proven to be much quieter than the previous version. A new locking system has been added to the helmet to make sure that the front is secured when flipped up, important as the Neotec II is the first Shoei system helmet to feature dual homologation.

The Neotec II will retail at between £519.99 and £599.99
