We’ve used these babies for a couple of years on our Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan trips. They come with clear, dark and yellow photochromic lenses that exchange in the blink of an eye, and you can use them with or without a soft foam insert that helps seal your eyes against grit and dust.
They also come out of the bag with both a set of legs and a headband, so if your lid doesn’t have a channel for spectacle legs you can still wear them comfortably.
I wouldn’t travel without them on a bike now, which is a shame as I’ll have to buy a new pair for my next trip – our local Tajik tour partner was so taken with them, that I gave them to him for his latest long-distance ride!
One minuscule quibble; although you get a hard case and three soft cases in the packet, the soft cases have a tendency to disappear in your luggage and I felt it would be useful to have another hard case to keep the spare lenses in. There, I’ve got it off my chest!
