We’re going trans-Atlantic

Overland magazine spinesAs the back catalogue of Overland builds up, so our readership and distribution grows with every new issue.

Copies are already being stocked in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and even Brazil, but Issue 9 will be the first available across the USA. Copies of Overland are going to be stocked by the quality bookstore chain Barnes & Noble throughout the United States, which will be a huge relief for all those American readers who are currently forced to pay more in international postage than the actual cover price.

The quality, coffee-table, nature of Overland has always meant that overseas readers have been penalised by shipping costs, but as so many of you have made repeated requests to retailers, we’re delighted that they’ve been listening.Issue 9 cover

Distribution in America will complement our new, wider distribution in the British Isles. Easons, the newsagent chain in Ireland, and WHSmith shops in airports, railway stations and motorway service areas in the UK begin stocking Overland this autumn too.

Issue 9 will be full of the great images and quality writing that we are reknowned for and as we continue to restrict advertising to just 15% of content, you get even more inspiration should you need it, to just pack your bags and get out there yourself.

The other great news is that from issue 10, we will be going quarterly for the first time, appearing on shelves in February, May, August and November 2015.
