Touratech have just announced that from 1st August representation and supply of Touratech products in the United Kingdom market will be performed directly by the Headquarters and Central Warehouse of Touratech GmbH.
Today’s press release says their strategy to serve the United Kingdom market is based on providing delivery of products directly to the end customer from Niedereschach. However they will also establish a network of ‘point of sale’ venues with proper geographic coverage of the country, therefore allowing all you Touratechisti to still enjoy close contact with their products.
To quote, “The United Kingdom is historically a very important and significant market with passionate customers strongly connected to traveling and adventure. Our aim is to ensure that the long relationship between the United Kingdom’s customer and our brand is preserved and sustained over time.”
In recent years, especially since the parent German company went into insolvency in summer of 2017, Touratech has been reducing its previously vast product range, but it continues to be the reference brand for those searching for the best accessories for their motorbikes; the trustworthy choice to equip motorbikes traveling all over the world in so many diverse and adverse environments.
Touratech UK, based in Ystradgynlais in South Wales, wasn’t immediately affected by the 2017 upheaval, but it seems continued restructuring is now having a more potent impact. However Touratech say that Nick Plumb’s British operation will become one of their retailers.
