Dom Giles is a Jupiter’s Traveller, one of the progeny of the Ted Simon Foundation, which aims to bring excellent writing to light from new authors, and we are immensely pleased that Dom will be launching his book on our stand at the Motorcycle Live show 2013.
Dom’s stints as a volunteer while on the road add a novel twist to his tale, as he learns to hunt for turtle’s eggs, contributes to a scientific discovery in Costa Rica and attempts to introduce Lewis Carroll into the lives of young South Africans.
He’s constantly touched by the kindness of others in what is an insightful, self-deprecating and life-affirming story of what it’s like to be out there on the road.
Dom will be on the Overland magazine stand all day Saturday 23rd November. Come and say hi, be one of the first to get your hands on this great new book and ask Dom how he feels about George Galloway and the world at large! You can read a review of his book here.
We are pleased to say that Iain Harper, co-founder of the Ted Simon Foundation will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the work they do bringing adventure travel to the world.
All the action will be happening on stand 2G31, just beside the Aprilia display.
