MT launch dual-sport helmet

MT Dual Sport Gloss WhiteMT Helmets might have arrived at the Dual Sport party fashionably late but they feel they may have produced something that’s worth the wait; the Synchrony Dual Sport.

It’s based on the MT Synchrony MX shell, which means it’s not a dressed up road model but has greater off-road pretensions from the off and that’s always a good thing when the going is hot.

Expertly designed and moulded in premium-quality polycarbonate, the interior features a Multiple Density EPS impact liner with a removable and washable comfort liner and there’s an integral drop-down sun visor. Fitted as standard is a moulded, 2.2mm-thick visor.

The Synchrony shell with its angular, sculpted design has MT’s Active Flux 360º Ventilation System so that you can keep a cool head under the toughest conditions – on or off road. Flush-mounted with aluminium screws, the adjustable and removable peak features cut-outs so that the brow vents aren’t obstructed and the chin bar vent has a positive open and shut action.

MT claim that it’s a ‘wear anywhere’ lid with tremendous build quality, but we are yet to test one so can’t really comment. At £99 though, it would appear good value and 1.6 kilos isn’t too heavy.

It’s available in Gloss Black, Matt Black, Gloss White, Anthracite, flourescent Yellow and all sizes. Click on the images for more info.
